Earth Day was made to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment, April 22 each year by more than 500 million people and several national governments in 175 countries celebrate it. This week we celebrated Earth Week with my Girl Guides.
We planted tulips, and cleaned up the lot where we have our meetings.
We made rice krispie earths.
We volunteered to clean up and plant native trees at the eco park.
We watched Fern Gully. (also known as AVATAR)
We left the frogs, and turtles undisturbed.
