D is for DOMS

I can totally relate.

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness is felt by most athletes and is often described as muscle pain, muscle soreness or muscle stiffness, DOMS can actually be quite painful. . Generally its at its worst 48 hours post workout. (or whatever activity you were doing)
This muscle soreness is frequently felt when you begin a new exercise program, change your current routine, or dramatically increase the intensity of your regular routine.

  4. See this is why I hated working out. The pain never, ever, ever went away. Not even when I was going to the gym 4-5 days a week and doing a mix of cardio and weights for 30-40 minutes. I am in constant pain 24/7 as it is.
