Happy Mudder's Day!

Over the years, I have teased my mother about being absent-mindedness. She recalls mixed up events, calls one of my sister's names when she means to call mine, whole conversations can be wiped clean from her memories if they never happened, and all events happen "just the other day".

Last night I was talking to husband, about some trivial matter that happened "just the other day". When I mixed up some of the details of an event that took place over four months ago, husband looked at me "Haha, you're turning into your mother."

Thankfully, I don't think that that is an altogether bad thing.

Happy Mudder's Day to all the mom's out there. (especially mine)

  3. My mom is right more often than my dad, so that wouldn't be a bad thing to be more like her.
    Hope you're having a great Mother's Day!

  5. My mom just turned 85 and she has way better recall of things that happened in the 1930s and 40s, but not in the past 10 years. :(
