its on the list...

eggs, milk, bananas... OOPS wrong list!


Summer is just around the corner, so I decided to create my official Summer 2012 Bucket List. Just a bunch of things I hope to do this summer with friends, with my family and by myself....

 Play a board game  Sleep in a tent  Go on a picnic  Make popsicles  Have a water fight  Go to a concert  Bury my feet in the sand  Finish a 1000 piece puzzle  Bake cookies  Go whale watching  Watch the sun rise & set  Eat donuts at night  Have a bonfire & s’mores  Lie on the ground and watch the clouds  Play flashlight tag  Make Jello  Go out for breakfast  Walk on Signal Hill  Write & post a letter  Blow bubbles  Colour  Go on a date  Go swimming  Star gazing  Play frisbee  Watch fireworks  Make a birdhouse  Go zip lining  Plant a herb garden  Catch a fish  Have a PJ day  Ice Cream at Moo Moos  Visit Bowring Park  Make rice krispies  Have a guitar hero marathon  Learn how to bake bread  Go to the library  Hike the Cape  Pick berries  Try something new  Eat fries on George St.  Spend the whole day barefoot  Take a nap in a hammock  Go on an adventure  Ride an ATV  Go to a pub  Make supper for my parents  Watch a parade  Go on random midnight walk  Make a stranger smile  Visit some place new  Random Act of Kindness  Spend the evening with old friends  Play ding dong ditch  Jump in the puddles  Go for a walk in the rain  Go dancing  Make a root bear float  Visit a museum  Wear a dress


I am hoping to make it through the whole list and post the pictures to prove it! What is on your summer bucket list??

    1. ding dong ditch - childhood game where you ring a door bell and bolt (I was never successful at this game) but I do have a twist planned :)

  5. Great list!! Reminds me of my childhood in the 70s. I have nothing on my summer bucket list except to survive the heat and humidity. ;)

  11. Fun list!

    I just wrote about my lifetime bucket list, but as far as my summer list goes, I'd liked to get some major work done on my family history memoir and catch up on my reading. I'm seven books behind right now. :)

  14. I was with you all the way until you wrote "wear a dress". I hold the line at that one. After retiring, dresses went away, jeans came in.

    1. I had a water balloon fight last summer - 106 balloons in 35 seconds, I was picking up balloon bits for weeks

  21. I love ths list! I will definitely steal some of these ideas.

    I'll be travelling for most of the summer, so my list includes visiting some little known areas of new countries, and not getting my luggage lost. :)
