I is for Ice Caps

The St. John's Ice Caps  are a professional hockey team.  Members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the American Hockey League (AHL) and farm team for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The Ice Caps are so popular, its nearly impossible to get tickets to see a game!

  1. Hockey games are fun. We've got the Lake Erie Monsters here in Cleveland--the only difference is that you can ALWAYS get a seat.

  2. This is so cool, sounds like a team that could rival the Belfast Giants too which is awesome.

  3. Ice Caps....isn't that a Timmies or McD's treat? They sound like my kind of guys.

  6. I followed the Canucks when I was out west. I have a lot of friends who were distraught over the NHL strike earlier this season.

  7. Ice Caps...I love that! In Anaheim, CA, the team is named "The Mighty Ducks", but I do not know why.

    1. They were named after the movie, "The Mighty Ducks," which was a Disney movie.
