Kids love camping, even if they've never gone. Just the thought of sleeping in a tent, going on hikes, eating junk food, no bed times and singing songs around the campfire ... well, it all sounds like fun to them.
I do 4 camps a year with my unit, this is our spring camp, and its residential! We will be setting up a tent, but we're not sleeping in it. The girls are making their own pizzas, and rice krispie earths tonight, then they're making pancakes before we head to the eco park for our community service. I'll sleep when I get home.
