Living by the ocean, often feels like you're at the edge of the world. Tons of stuff gets washed up on the shores all the time. Every now and then, I like to think up stories about where the stuff came from.
Glass? Empty grog bottles hurled in the ocean by pirates. Obviously.
Wood? Splinters from wooden legs. Of course.
Footwear? Easy. Was attached to the wooden leg at one point.
But this, this one baffles me....
What would a pirate be doing with a keyboard?
Charting his course for sea domination?ReplyDelete
Revising Before the Mast.ReplyDelete
Makes you wonder where the rest of the computer is!ReplyDelete
Haha love this post! I have no idea how a keyboard would end up out at sea, seriously wondering to myself what the story was behind this one, it's kind of deep that we'll never know.ReplyDelete
He could be pillaging eBay?ReplyDelete
LOL!! I love it!ReplyDelete
Hacking other ships' navigation systems?ReplyDelete

Hahahahahaha! He was using it for internet dating!ReplyDelete
Pirating software, I guess. Hahaha. The things that come in with the tide.ReplyDelete
I'd say a pirate named John had an email from his beautiful lover saying she was running off with another pirate, so he ripped it from his computer and threw it overboard in a fit or jealous rage.....;o)ReplyDelete
you guys are awesome! Not only did I do a comment jig, I grinned from ear to ear at your theories!ReplyDelete
I'm thinking the on board IT nerd, couldn't fix the pirate ship's network and was forced to walk the plank. Computer and all....ReplyDelete
