Post-tropical storm Leslie blew through the Island yesterday. High winds and heavy rain caused power outages to most of the island, and damages are still being reported.

Thankfully, it was not as bad as Igor two years ago. (& none of my family or friends were affected badly)
It was quite a day. I took a stroll around the neighbourhood when it was all over and there were a lot of downed trees and fences, and even a few sheds toppled. We're lucky it wasn't worse.
I'm a girl from around the bay. A runner, mother, daughter, sister, wife, an average run of the mill Newfoundlander with an overly active imagination.
I spend my days making mistakes and then trying to fix them before I get caught.
My life is random!
Wow! Are you all right though?

ReplyDeleteIt's eerie how this storm was 2 years later almost to the day since Hurricane Igor.
Central didn't get what they were calling for this time around - which is a good thing
