F is for Fartlek


Hahah... as my coach says, the word just sounds dirty to say!


A Fartlek (swedish for “speed play”) workouts involves sprinting and jogging off and on during a run. So instead of keeping the same pace through the whole workout you sprint, then jog, then sprint again.  They are a lot harder than they sound!
