Excursion around the bay

Its birthday week!  Kiddo and I are three whole days apart... so this past weekend we decided again to forget reality and head around the bay, this time to Ferryland for a lighthouse picnic.  (I believe I've mentioned my mild obsession with lighthouses before :)

Hard to believe she will be 14 on Friday!

The food was great - we had curry mango chicken sandwiches, gingerbread, scones, berry tarts and fresh squeezed lemonade :)

Then headed back to the in-laws summer home for Kiddo's pre-birthday party.  

Another great weekend with family, and no cell reception - what more could I ask for?
