Scratch 1

In my mind the rain is warm, husband has his arm draped lovingly around me, I'm wearing rubber boots and we have an umbrella - kind of romantic.

In reality the rain is cold, I'm on my way home from work, wearing sneakers, not carrying an umbrella and getting splashed by a passing car.


I look like a drowned rat, and my socks are soggy - but it was kind of refreshing.


Now I can cross it off my list.
