Scratch 1

In my mind the rain is warm, husband has his arm draped lovingly around me, I'm wearing rubber boots and we have an umbrella - kind of romantic.

In reality the rain is cold, I'm on my way home from work, wearing sneakers, not carrying an umbrella and getting splashed by a passing car.


I look like a drowned rat, and my socks are soggy - but it was kind of refreshing.


Now I can cross it off my list.

    Gosh, was this from a recent trip... it sounds like it was freezing... and it's June, so I can't imagine being cold (I am super-spoiled, of course :)

    Hope you and Hubs can arrange for the umbrella version... that at least sounds like fun :)

    sorry about your rain story. The worst soaking I ever got was from white water rafting. I can't believe I wore cotton socks to it. By the time we got dressed in dry clothes, it felt like heaven getting a break from the cold water.
