Worst Comedy Movies Ever

From the brain of Alex J. comes the Worst Movies Ever blogfest .

I have seen some pretty bad movies in my time, some of them worse than others. So in no particular order, I give you MY 10 worst comedy movies:

The Love Guru (2008) - staring Mike Myers and Jessica Alba - "If your Uncle Jack helped you off an elephant, would you help your uncle jack off an elephant?"

The Master of Disguise (2002) - staring Dana Carvey - "Am I not turtle enough for you?"

Year One (2009) - staring Jack Black and Micheal Cera - "I'm sorry. I wasn't listening. All my brain blood was in my boner."

White Chicks (2004) - staring Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans - "Look King Kong. Why don't you take you and your "1980 pick-up lines", climb all the way up to the top of the Empire State building, beat on your big old monkey chest and then jump off? Excuse me."

From Justin to Kelly (2003) - staring Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini - "You're the mayor of Spring Break, and she's one-bonnet-shy-Amish!"

Thunderpants (2002)- staring Rupert Grint and Paul Giamatti - "I cannot control my arse."

Grease 2 (1982)- staring Michelle Pfeiffer - "If I catch up with that guy, he's dead, you hear me? D-E-D"

Freddy Got Fingered (2001) - staring Tom Green - "You can't hurt me, not with my cheese helmet!"

Honey I Blew up the Kid (1992) - Rick Moranis - "Adam! Don't eat us!"

Baby on Board (2009)- Heather Graham and Jerry O' Connell - * this is the exception - I just watched it and there are no words. I just HATED it.

  1. I'm pretty excited that I haven't seen any of these movies. I remember being tempted to go to "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid" but changed my mind at the last minute. This is a fun blogfest. Alex has such great ideas.

  4. this is a good twist! You are so right on your choices. Everyone one of them sucked!

  5. OMG, The Love Guru! I totally forgot about this one. It sucked so bad, it deserves to be on that list for sure.

  6. I think the only one on that list that I've seen is "The Love Guru". While the movie was a catastrophe, I have to say I'm a closet Mike Myers fan. :)

  9. I think the only movie on this list I've seen is Grease 2. But I think I blocked all memory of it in order to prevent psychological damage :-)

  10. Well I only saw partially the first movie and that is it!

  11. LOL. Great picks. White Chicks really was B.A.D.

  12. I've never seen any of these movies--hooray.

    LOL.

  13. I don't do comedy, especially forced comedy. The closest I've gotten to anything remotely comedic, is Spanglish. (which I loved) Me giving it a chance, was rare, indeed.

  14. Wow! I am again amazed by a list of truly bad movies that I wasn't tempted to watch - except Grease 2 - ick! I totally agree that deserves to be on a 'worst' list.

  17. omg these are hilarious. I haven't seen any of them fortunately.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow, Grease 2! I had blocked that thing out of my mind.

  19. OMG, how did I forget White Chicks? That's worth 10 votes on its own.

  20. White Chicks wasn't just a BAD movie, it was a FREAKY movie because they didn't look normal in that white make-up! YAY - another Freddie Got Fingered!

  21. I'd forgotten about "Honey I Blew Up the Kid"... thank you amnesia!

But "Thunderpants"? Seriously? I totally missed that one!

"I cannot control my arse." LOL!

  22. Don't see any favorites of mine here and I guess I've only seen half of them. Had absolutely no urge to see the other half.

  23. Good list. I have only seen two (Love Guru and White Chicks), and they were pretty bad.

  24. Grease II was really horrible. Must be why I forgot about it. lol Had to wipe it from my memory banks.

  25. heeheehee!

i have to admit that i adored the master of disguise and have watched it more than once.

and grease 2. i hate travolta, so grease was terrible, imo. but i loved grease 2.

some of these other ones sound pretty terrible!

  26. Grease 2! How did I miss that one? Good call!

Love Guru and Justin/Kelly made my list, too. Both total groaners.

  27. Wow, I haven't seen any of these. Lucky me! Most comedies are pretty unfunny, so I'm very picky about anything on the comedy shelf.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I SO agree. Greese 2 and Honey I blew up the kids were awful movies. :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Those are horrible movies! Great picks.

  30. *Sigh* I hated White Chicks, but my husband got a lot of mileage out of the bathroom scene near the beginning.

    ReplyDelete
  31. After reading this list I'm glad I missed them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'd forgotten about most of these! Gah. There has truly been a spectacularly large amount of movie wasted on some awful rubbish, hasn't there?

    ReplyDelete
  33. White Chicks! Ugh, that was aweful. And I see you picked Freddie Got Fingered...ridiculous movie. Glad you mee you. :) I'll be following.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Honey I Blew Up the Kid was one of those bad/good movies. It wasn't good but it was enjoyable to watch.

    My cheese helmet got moldy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Love this blog post! A really interesting read! Followed!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I haven't seen any of these movies. And I do not regret it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Comedy is so subjective. I'm really picky when it comes to comedies. I'm happy to say I've only sat through one of those movies, too.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I havent seen most of these but I gotta agree with The Love Guru- I had such high hopes for it and it let me down.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yep, I fear that the love guru is on quite a few lists. That movie was just awful. Great list. I like some of your other choices. Freddy Got Fingered was beyond redemption. Tom Green never recovered from that monstrosity.

Great blog by the way. Following you now.
