Which came first the chicken or the egg? The egg of course (didn't dinosaurs lay eggs?)
A solid source of 14 essential nutrients and an excellent source of protein, eggs are one of the best superfoods. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help with proper body function and heart health. They’re good for the eyes, too: The antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin (found in the yolks) help protect the eyes from light and free radicals (and may even help prevent eye degeneration that can present with age) . And while there’s been much debate over the lil’ yellow centers, the yolks are full of choline- a B vitamin essential for proper brain function.
Relatively inexpensive and just 70 calories, eggs are both a breakfast and baking staple.
It's been a long time since I had an egg,ReplyDelete
I always thought the chicken came first, because the creator is always greater than what is created.
Don't know which came first...don't really care....but I loves me those speckled brown eggs.ReplyDelete
I can sometimes eat eggs and other times I feel so nauseous that I can't even smell an egg-weird. I believe they are a great food source thoughReplyDelete
I love eggs.ReplyDelete
Egg salad sandwiches ... with onion... on fresh white bread, squished, with a couple of gherkins and a side of barbecue potato chips. Oh, and a tall glass of freezing cold milk. nom nom nomReplyDelete
Love them, so versatileReplyDelete
Chickens evolved from the Red Junglefowl, so in reality the junglefowl's first chicken egg came before the first chicken.ReplyDelete
I'm going through a period at the minute of really loving eggs - I have no idea why, but I crave them all the time. They're so tasty!ReplyDelete
