eerily true-ish?!

My pool is green with algae and there are ginormous black ants storming my house. Why? Because its too hot to be outside!

So last night, being that it was too hot to cook food, we had Chinese take out. But wait, there is more!

During supper we informed kiddo that husband applied for deployment, and that if all goes well, there is a chance we will be moving before the end of the summer. BUT, we can't talk about it because I don't want to jinx it. She took the news extremely well, and finished off her orange chicken in silence.

When she opened her fortune cookie, her mouth fell open.... "Mom, you gotta see this!"

eeeeerie! right?! Let's all cross our fingers and hope they're true! (We should know by the end of next week)

  2. Freaky! Hope it goes the way you want it to!

PS: We are really struggling with those BIG black ants, coming in the window and ending up in my tub! Hubby swears they are looking for water because we're way behind on rainfall. I say, why don't they just go to the dang pool!

  8. Now that is interesting. I keep hearing about all this weather and am thankful for the great weather we've been having here in Los Angeles.
Maybe you'll get to go where there is moderate climate like this.

  10. So are you packed? I'd say it was in the bag or at least the cookies.

  13. Last year, I went on a trip to South America. A few days before I left, a fortune cookie told me, "You will soon have an exciting adventure."

I believe in fortune cookies. :-)
