Christmas is right around the corner. Want to know how I can tell?
Our gingerbread house is standing!
The accompanying tree, well he was not so fortunate, you see, the house came pre-assembled while the tree was not. Mr Tree, now resides partially in my tummy. (He was tasty.)
Glad yours is standing - our gingerbread house had to be condemned.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is in your tummy, the house trembles in fear.
ReplyDeleteYou ate your whole Christmas tree? Didn't those pine needles ge....oh, you mean the one which came with the house? Well, that's a different story.
ReplyDeleteAnd how did you know that your tree was a 'he?' Because it had Christmas balls on it?
Well, his life may have been short, but his purpose was clear....To be eaten!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great Christmas!
Daughter tried to make one last year and I don't think she even managed a picture before it came crashing down.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
I love gingerbread houses, this is pretty great, way better than the stuff I can do in all honesty, it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteGingerbread house looks so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Christmas.

ReplyDeletetrekking your amazing blog! keep blogging! happy holidays!
ReplyDeletecheers!
...TREK...
My family isn't fond much of the ginger taste so we always make houses out of graham crackers.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time my house looks like a doublewide trailer park unit. It's a nice rectangle with a flat roof and is filled with candy.
The house looks lovely. I've always wanted to build one.
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays.
Hope you had a great Christmas - and that your gingerbread house is as delicious as it looks :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents one year sent me an incredible gingerbread house. It was HUGE. However, my mom opened it and I wouldn't allow any of us to have a piece. Then the darn thing hardened so much, that we couldn't even break a piece of the candy off...
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad by that! My mom kept begging me...but it was so cute and perfectly done by a professional person or machine... :(
